Together with 'Blauw Research', the largest independent research bureau in the Netherlands, Difrax BV carried out a research on the role of fathers nowadays in five different countries. The research results are surprising and interesting.

The researched target group consists of fathers above the age of 18, with children under the age of three years old, in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain and Sweden.

The research was carried out among 200 fathers per country. This number gives the best overall picture of the most important subgroups, in order to arrive at the final conclusion of the research.

One of the outcomes is that having a 'Daddy Day' is most common in the United Kingdom (57%) and the Netherlands (55%), and less common in Spain (39%). Older fathers (≥ 45 years) have more regularly a 'Daddy Day' (45%) as well as fathers with only one child (50%), compared to fathers with three children (38%).
