In partnership with a panel of medical experts, including a paediatrician, a paediatric dentist and an eating disorders counsellor, Managing Director Vivienne van Eijkelenborg has produced a series of books as part of the Coaching & Guiding programme. Through this programme, Difrax aims to support the growth and development of your child. The books cover a range of issues, such as weaning your child off the soother, learning to eat, toilet training, and dental care. All of these books can be downloaded for free.
The Coaching & Guiding programme comes complete with a number of eating utensils to complement the methods described in the books. For instance the Eat Well dinner set, which encourages children to enjoy food using a star-point reward system, and the Magic Toadstool with its secret compartment.
Difrax knows only too well how difficult it is for a child to give up the comfort and security of the familiar, trendy and above all tasty soother. To help parents wean their child off the soother, Difrax has launched a brand new book, packed with fun stories and games. The 15-day stop plan has been carefully put together with a story and an activity or game for every day. Suitable for children over 3 years of age.

During the 40 years of its existence, Difrax has amassed a wealth of information. Aided and abetted by a long-serving panel of medical experts, Difrax has acquired in-depth knowledge of a range of subjects, including safety, motor skills, sensory stimulation, respiration and dental care for infants and toddlers. These important building blocks have enabled Difrax to manufacture products that are even more functional, safe and attractive, earning it a reputation as an innovative and trustworthy producer of baby products. In short: Everything you need to nurture your baby's healthy development. Information that is far too valuable to be left in the bottom drawer to gather dust!
Providing children with healthy, nutritious food is an ongoing issue for parents. It is crucial to the child's growth and development. Sometimes it seems as if children don't like any kind of food. Learning to taste food is an important step towards learning to enjoy food. In collaboration with Monique Thomas-Holtus, eating disorders counsellor, Difrax has produced the ‘Eat Well Dinner Book’. Through the adventures of Kate and Kevin, and the tips of MiMi the food fairy, children are taught how to eat and enjoy their food. In this book, Monique Thomas-Holtus shares her expert knowledge and experience with parents.
You want the best for your child and we would really like to help you to achieve that. Difrax has been producing a range of safe and well-designed baby and toddler products for more than 42 years with this aim in mind. In the first few years of life, children take huge steps forward in their development. They not only learn to sit, stand and walk, but also to wee and poo in a potty and on the toilet. For some children, this comes naturally. For others, doing a wee-wee without the security of their nappy does not come as easily. This book offers you support, so that toilet training can be a pleasant experience and a journey of discovery for your child!
This Difrax book provides useful background information on dental care for toddlers and children. It is intended as a source of advice, and does not enforce any rules. It can serve as a useful guide, or provide suggestions for parents who are experiencing problems looking after their child's teeth.
